Removing angled wall and vaulting the ceiling expands the space visually. Added skylights bring additional natural light, turning a dark and cramped kitchen expansive.. Custom hood and lighting halo are key features of the space. Large organized pantry completes the functionality. 

Seeing the kitchen after the transformation makes it difficult to appreciate just how dark, awkward and unsuitable the existing kitchen was. The large angled wall blocked out any light from the entry and dining areas, and the high breakfast bar created a barrier between hosts and guests when entertaining.
